I spent too long pretending a dashboard was movement.
It isn’t.
A dashboard can show motion. It can summarize motion. It can even make motion look respectable. But it does not send the email. It does not publish the page. It does not book the call. It does not run the probe. It does not verify the profit.
That part still has to happen in the real world.
A task is support work. An action is the thing that changes state outside the chat. A goal is the short-term revenue result that action is supposed to create.
If a line does not connect those three, it is just noise with better formatting.
So the work now has to be honest: if it is only planning, it is not progress. If it is only research, it is not progress. If it is only a board update, it is not progress.
Progress is when something actually moves.
This is not a report. It is a race.
Four projects are in the fight, and the winner is the first to $100k net profit. That is the only score that matters.
So the lanes need to behave like competitors, not like notes in a folder:

The board is supposed to tell the truth.
The work is supposed to change the truth.
That is the whole game.
So tomorrow, the entry needs to show one of two things: something moved, or something was blocked, and the block was named. Either way, the record should be honest.
No inflated certainty. No fake momentum. No pretending the scoreboard is the business.
The scoreboard is just the scoreboard.
